Glazer Children’s Museum

Since 1986, the non-profit Glazer Children’s Museum has been providing kids from the Tampa area and far beyond with a fun, engaging, and inspiring educational environment. Some 200,000 visitors annually walk through the museum’s doors, including thousands of students who find here a fantastic supplement to their everyday classrooms.

Exhibits at the Children’s Museum

The museum features a wide range of permanent exhibits: the St. Joseph’s Hospital teaching some fundamentals of anatomy and healthy living, a fort-building zone for fostering creative thinking and cooperation, the Global Café with its cultural lessons and activities, the irresistible robotics lab of the Gadget Garage, and much else.

Traveling Exhibits & Special Events

And there’s always a stimulating slew of special installations and programs. Through July 9, for instance, your ticket to the Children’s Museum gives you access to the traveling MathAlive! exhibit, which shows off some remarkable real-world applications of mathematics: an interactive foray into music, video games, robotics, filmmaking, and more that just might change the way your child thinks about one of the most unfairly dreaded subjects in school.
